Expanding Home

A brilliant home on wheels concept. I love the elegance of the expansion mechanism.

How stupid is Microsoft’s Craig Mundie to equate Microsoft’s voice services on Windows 7 with what Apple has done with Siri? This is one sure way to fire up a meme and get others to see a very unpolished area of your product. Well done.

It’s fine to say you don’t think Siri’s a big deal and go on to illuminate how Microsoft will lead innovation in other areas. It’s downright dumb to argue that Apple is just better at marketing the same technology you’ve had on your own phones for a year - especially when you are the chief strategy officer of that technology and you should know that your product is not nearly competitive enough in this area. Eat your goddamn veggies, Mundie!

The Windows phone in the side-by-side fails to parse even a single request correctly.

Here’s our Seattle newspaper, a major newspaper, classing it up again. Nice ad to article ratio.

“The next Steve Jobs will totally be a chick, because girls are No. 2 — and No. 2 always wins in America. Apple was a No. 2 company for years, and Apple embodies a lot of what have been defined as feminine traits: an emphasis on intuitive design, intellect, a strong sense of creativity, and that striving to always make the greatest version of something. Traditionally, men are more like Microsoft, where they’ll just make a fake version of what that chick made, then beat the shit out of her and try to intimidate everybody into using their product.”
